I’ve been following the case of Justin Moyer and Crystal Rivera, and I can’t stop thinking about the ripple effects these tragic events have had on their families and community. Particularly troubling was learning about Moyer's last night at the Spearmint Rhino. It’s unsettling to think that what might’ve seemed like a normal night out ended in such a tragic way. I keep wondering about the kind of interactions and encounters he had at the club that might have led up to the events only hours later. Did anyone there notice anything unusual, or was it all just an unfortunate coincidence tied to that last social setting?
My heart truly goes out to Moyer's mother, Valli, and Rivera’s family. Living with that kind of loss is unimaginable, and it’s infuriating to think about senseless violence resulting from disputes that could have been resolved without resorting to guns. It's important for us to keep discussing these painful incidents to push for change and curate a supportive community to back those affected by such tragedies. Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Bailey Post, the survivor of the tragic shooting that took the lives of Justin Moyer and Crystal Rivera. I can't even begin to imagine what she’s been going through. It's so rare for us to hear from, or about, those who survive such horrific incidents, and I wonder how she's coping with both physical and emotional recovery. Surviving something so traumatic can’t be easy, and the burden of remembering those lost must be incredibly hard to bear.
If anyone has any updates about how Bailey is doing—whether through statements she might have made or news covering her recovery process—it would truly help to shed some light on her progress. Sometimes in cases like these, people who endure the trauma are unintentionally forgotten. Hopefully, she has a strong support system to help her through this unimaginable journey.
Last but not least, my thoughts and prayers remain with the families affected by this heartbreaking loss, and I hope they find the peace and solace they deserve over time. ?️
Has anyone else been following the details about the vehicle involved in the Justin Moyer case? I find it chilling that the suspect used a white SUV to pull up next to Justin and Crystal's car during those early morning hours. It’s such a busy area, especially in the daytime, but eerily quiet at 3:18 a.m. when this happened.
What's baffling to me is how someone can have the audacity to commit such a heinous act and then just drive away. You have to wonder what was going through Fraguela's mind at that moment, aiming at unarmed people in a car. Sometimes I scroll through the aerial views of that intersection on Google Maps, and it’s hard not to be overcome with emotion thinking about it.
