I’ve been thinking a lot about Kevin Humphrey’s case lately, and it’s just so deeply troubling that it hasn’t been solved yet. I came across something interesting about the area where the shooting took place. Some locals have mentioned that West 36th Street has become a hotspot for crime recently, and it seems the increased police presence hasn’t deterred these tragic events. It's just devastating to think that Kevin, a hardworking father and former athlete with so much to give, was caught up in this senseless violence. It’s scary how one moment can change everything. I hope that stepping up police patrols might prevent further tragedies, but what are the community leaders doing to address the root causes of this violence? Anyone here with local insight? Maybe there's something more we could do to help Kevin’s family find justice or at least push for more community safety measures. It’s essential we don’t let Kevin’s story fade away, and keep urging those with any information to share it with the authorities.
