I’ve been following this case from the beginning and something that’s really been on my mind is justice for Nelson Montero’s family. No one should have to endure losing a loved one in such a senseless and violent manner. It’s commendable that the local law enforcement acted swiftly in capturing the suspects, but I can’t help but think about how Montero’s family is coping with this tragic loss. The mere thought of not getting to say goodbye or understanding why this happened must be incredibly difficult to bear. I hope that, as the trial progresses, the judicial system provides some solace and a sense of closure. My thoughts are with them as they navigate this heartbreaking journey.
