Has anyone else noticed the troubling pattern with restraining orders not being enforced? Ashley was such a bright light in her community, and it's absolutely devastating that despite filing a restraining order, it didn't offer her the protection she desperately needed. I've read about cases where the system fails to protect victims, and it always makes me wonder what more can be done to ensure these orders are taken seriously.
It's infuriating thinking about how Ashley's life might have turned out differently if the restraining order had been enforced.
