Hey everyone, I've been following the Mandana Boushehri case for a while now, and I keep circling back to that package she sent from the Tri-Cities area. Does anyone else find it really odd that Mandana would send her own passport and driver’s license back home? Usually, those items are essentials for travel and identification, especially if you're out in a remote area.
Was there any kind of foul play involved—or was this maybe an attempt on her part to unload valuables in case of theft in the wilderness? It just seems like such a calculated move for someone not extremely experienced in backpacking. Maybe someone imposed on her to send those items, or perhaps it was something she did out of precaution without realizing the consequences?
I'm really interested to hear any theories or similar cases the community might know of where missing people did something like this. It feels like a piece of the puzzle that could potentially shed light on her movements or intentions during those last known days in early August 1984.
