Has anyone else been digging into the details of the case against Charles? I’ve been following this from the beginning, and while I’m relieved there’s finally been an arrest, it’s chilling to think it took over four years to bring him in. I can't imagine how hard this must have been for Jose Otero’s family. Waiting for justice while the unidentified gunman remained free must have been its own form of trauma. The fact that Lemons only came forward as part of a plea deal makes me wonder about the dynamics between these guys. What was going through Rodriguez’s and Lemons’s minds that night when this escalated so quickly? The level of violence, with 26 rounds fired, just seems so extreme. I’ve read discussions here before about gang ties or premeditated plans, but does anyone have more nuanced insights into their connections? Also, if anyone knows more about the legal process for cases like this, how long do you think it’ll be before we see a trial?
