Has anyone else been following the Jermaine Orr case? I was thinking about how tragic it is that someone with a violent past like Morley Kent was able to be in a position to cause such harm again. It's incredibly concerning that even after a previous manslaughter conviction, he was not deterred from resorting to violence. This makes me wonder about our justice system and what safeguards are in place to prevent repeat offenders from committing similar crimes. It's so frustrating to see this pattern and think about how Jermaine's family must feel knowing that a preventable situation led to losing their loved one. Wishing them strength and healing as they remember Jermaine. His life and legacy should not be overshadowed by such a senseless act.
