Jermaine Orr, a 42-year-old African American man from Boynton Beach, FL, was tragically killed on the night of April 6, 2019. The incident occurred at the Kiwanis/Sierra Clubs Park in Boynton Beach. Orr's death was the result of a fatal shooting, which stemmed from a confrontation with Morley Kent, a 45-year-old man with a history of violent behavior. The altercation between Orr and Kent escalated, leading Kent to fire multiple shots at Orr, ultimately causing his death.
