Hey everyone, I've been reading through the threads about Markie McCray's case, and something stuck out to me that hasn't been discussed much here yet. The fact that the incident happened during such a well-attended event in Highway Park makes me wonder why there haven't been more eyewitness accounts coming forward. With so many people present, it's hard to believe that no one saw or heard anything that could be helpful. I understand that folks might be hesitant to speak up, especially in close-knit communities, but I'm hoping that maybe after some time has passed, people might feel safer sharing what they know. It's really sad to think that Markie's family and friends are still waiting for answers more than four years later. Let's hope someone finds the courage to come forward soon. Please keep pushing for justice for Markie and supporting his loved ones.

I am truly struck by how Markie’s community has come together in the wake of his passing. It’s clear from everything I’ve read that he was well-loved and respected, which makes this tragedy even more difficult to understand. I’ve been thinking a lot about Highway Park and how it has been a festive gathering place for years. It’s hard to fathom how such a senseless act could transform a space once filled with joy into one of sorrow. I keep wondering if there might have been something different about this year’s event that could have led someone to target Markie. Did anyone notice unusual tensions or confrontations during the day? Any small detail could be crucial. It’s times like these when community insight can really make a difference. For his family’s sake, I hope anyone with even the smallest piece of information will come forward. Let’s keep pushing for answers so we can help bring some peace to those who knew and loved him.
