I recently stumbled across the tragic case of Jose Vargas Cruz and it's just so unsettling. One detail that caught my attention was how his store, Cruz Fashion, was really a hub for the local community, especially for fellow immigrants. It’s clear from the community response that he wasn't just running a business, but had created a space where people felt comfortable and supported. The fact that he chose to open a place that catered to this community speaks volumes about his character. It leaves me wondering why more hasn't been done, or at least heard about, since this horrific event took place. I can only imagine how frustrating and painful it must be for his family and friends not to have any answers or progress in the case. If anyone in the area or who knows details about this could come forward, it might really help bring some closure to those who knew and loved him. No family should have to go through this without some semblance of justice. Thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
