What really strikes me about Richmond Pollock's story is the sheer resilience his mother must have. I mean, how does one cope with losing so many loved ones to such tragic circumstances? After the death of her husband, then her son in a car accident, and now Richmond, it's more loss than anyone should have to endure. Despite everything, she finds strength in her faith and the memories of her family. I can't help but admire her ability to keep going. I really hope the police can find the person responsible so Richmond’s family can find some semblance of justice and peace. It’s a reminder of how devastating gun violence can be, and how it affects so many lives long after the headlines fade. My thoughts are with Richmond’s mom and his entire family during this incredibly difficult time.
