Did anyone else find it odd that there hasn’t been a trace of Sarah since that storm in 2017? I know Lake Superior is immense and treacherous, but given that Robert was found, it makes me wonder about Sarah’s disappearance. I read somewhere that recovery efforts can be incredibly challenging in that area due to underwater currents and visibility issues. Does anyone know if there might be any other reasons her body wasn’t recovered, like the geography of the lakebed or something else? It seems like there might be more complexities involved here that aren't widely talked about. Appreciate any insights from those familiar with the area or similar cases.
Has anyone else been following the Sarah Elizabeth Hall case from 2017? I was reading through some old articles and found it intriguing that they recovered Robert Anderson's body but never found Sarah's. The conditions that day were indeed brutal, but I can't help but wonder if the geography of the Black Rocks area played a role in why they couldn't locate her. It seems like such a mysterious and tragic aspect of this case. I remember visiting Presque Isle Park a few years back, and the terrain can be unpredictable with so many hidden crevices underwater. Could it be possible that the storm carried her into one of those underwater caverns? Just speculating, but it's something that's always made me curious.
Has anyone looked into whether there have been any similar incidents at Black Rocks around the time Sarah and Robert were swept away? I know Lake Superior can be particularly dangerous, especially during storms, but I'm curious if there's been a pattern of accidents in that specific area. It’s such a popular spot, but the combination of beautiful views and unpredictable weather might be a risk that's not fully appreciated by folks visiting. It’s just tragic to think about how a day at the park turned into something so awful for everyone involved. Any locals or regular visitors to the park who know more about the safety measures in place? Maybe increased warnings could prevent future tragedies like this.
