I've been following the tragic case of Joseph J. Broady and Marlon Thomas, and can't stop thinking about how fragile life is. It seems so senseless that an old dispute would lead to such violence, tearing apart families in both Orlando and Jamaica who loved these men. I noticed that Broady was known in the community as not just a DJ but a promoter, which makes me wonder how many lives he touched through music and events. Losing someone who brings joy to others in such a vibrant scene must be incredibly tough on everyone who knew him. I hope that they find some comfort and justice during these trying times. Has anyone heard about initiatives or gatherings happening in Orlando or Montego Bay to remember them? It would be wonderful to support something that honors their spirits and keeps their memories alive.
