I've been following the tragic events that unfolded on March 9, 2020, in Tampa and can't stop thinking about the repercussions for those who witnessed the horrifying incident on North Orleans Avenue. Being present during such a traumatic event must be unimaginably difficult. I can only imagine the courage it took for the female witness to react in the moment, protecting herself and perhaps even others. It's so important for the community to come together to support those who endure such trauma, even if they survived physically unharmed. I hope that, in addition to justice being served, there are resources available for survivors and witnesses to find healing and peace after enduring such a daunting experience. Sending love and strength to everyone affected.
