I came across some old articles about Carl Brooks from December 2015, and it's just so frustrating to see how little progress was made in his case. It feels like every year, so many families in Baltimore are left without answers or justice for their loved ones. Brooks's case seemed like a part of this larger struggle the police were having at the time, with so many unsolved cases piling up. What’s so tough is imagining how his family must feel, year after year, with the case still open and no closure in sight. If anyone has more information or knew Carl personally, it would be great to hear some stories about who he was and keep his memory alive.
Has anyone else been following the Carl Brooks case? I can't stop thinking about the impact his death must have had on his family and community. It's so sad that there hasn't been any real progress in finding his killer. I feel for the loved ones who are left in the dark without any closure.
I know Baltimore had a rough year back in 2015 with all the violence, but the fact that Carl's case hasn't seen any resolution really strikes me.
