Does anyone here remember the Conlon case from 1964? I just came across it and I’m curious if anyone has theories about how a former Army police officer like Frank Kay Conlon could go missing without leaving much of a trail. It’s puzzling that someone with his background could be taken from his home without more evidence showing up. Also, does anyone know why the original police report is gone? That seems unusual and makes me wonder if there was an internal mishap or something else might be at play. How common is it for such crucial documents to vanish from such an old case? I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks.

Has anyone looked into the connection between Frank Kay Conlon's military background and his disappearance? Given that he was a former Army police officer, could there have been something or someone from his past that might have caught up with him? It's strange that such a case would have so little evidence, especially considering his background in law enforcement. The fact that his Social Security number and IRS records have shown zero activity for all these years adds to the mystery. I wonder if any of his former colleagues from the Allison Plant or fellow officers might have noticed anything unusual before he went missing. It seems like such an angle would have been explored, but maybe someone out there knows something we don't. If anyone has any theories or knows of similar cases, it would be great to hear them!

Does anyone else find the details about Frank Conlon’s case strange? Specifically, I’m curious about the fact that the original police report was lost. In a case like this, where you have a former Army police officer disappearing under suspicious circumstances, it seems particularly odd for such an important document to vanish. With the history of mismanagement or lack of resources in some departments during that time, I'm left wondering if there might have been more going on with the investigation than meets the eye. It makes you think about the possibilities of what may have been overlooked or if something more sinister was at play here. Does anyone have insights or theories on how this could have happened or if it has affected the progress of other older cases in that region?
