It’s incredibly sad how domestic issues can escalate to such tragic outcomes. I can't stop thinking about the potential for intervention before it got to this point. According to some reports, Estevan was well-liked in his community and had a bright future ahead of him—so many people cared about him. I know we often discuss the justice aspect in these forums, but I keep wondering if there were signs or missed opportunities for someone to intervene before his relationship with Roykeria turned lethal. I read that there were signs of a struggle, which makes me wonder if Estevan was desperately trying to defend himself in his final moments. It's tough to imagine the fear and desperation he must have felt. For those who knew him, I can’t even begin to imagine the depth of their loss.
