Does anyone here have any updates or insights into the strange disappearance of Howard Kley back in 1966? One thing that puzzles me is the timing around when he was last seen. He had dinner with colleagues and then vanished after being spotted in the Starlight room. Has anyone looked into whether there were any unusual activities or incidents reported around Coos Bay during that week? It’s so odd that his luggage was untouched in his room and yet, he was just gone. Could there have been any key events or conventions happening in town that might have brought strangers into the Chandler Hotel?
Does anyone else find it odd how Howard Kley's luggage was left untouched in his hotel room? I mean, it seems weird that he didn't even go back to his room after dinner. It's like he vanished into thin air. I'm curious if anyone in the Starlight Room noticed anything unusual or anyone leaving with him. It’s such a mystery how someone can just disappear with no sign of departure from a place like a hotel where there are people around all the time. If only there were more details on who else was at the Starlight Room that night. It's frustrating when you think about the potential leads we might never know about!
Has anyone looked into the history of the Chandler Hotel around the time Howard Kley disappeared? I find it strange that his luggage was left behind, but the bed wasn’t used. Hotels often have staff who would notice unusual activity or absence, and I'm curious if they reported anything suspicious. It's been over fifty years, but maybe someone remembers hearing something—rumors, strange people in the area, anything at all. Older hotels sometimes have long-time employees or locals with stories passed down. Worth exploring?
