It's puzzling how there still seems to be so little evidence or direction in David's case, even with the reported sighting and all the potential suspects they've looked into. I stumbled upon something interesting about the library club at C.E. Byrd High School that David was a part of. Several of the teachers back then were heavily involved in community events and there were rumors, totally unverified, that a few teachers had acquaintances who were notorious for dabbling in shady activities. It makes me wonder if David could have unintentionally gotten involved with someone he met through all his extracurricular activities? Community connections might be a different angle worth exploring, with such a close-knit network often being a double-edged sword in small towns. Anyone else have similar thoughts or heard rumors in that direction?

Has anyone dug into the details around the debate event David was supposed to attend at Centenary College? It's strange that there's so little information about it. Was the event confirmed to actually have taken place, and if so, did anyone ever verify whether David's name was on the attendee list or if his absence was noticed by other participants? Given his active involvement in the debate team, it’s troubling that he vanished on the way to something he was supposedly so invested in. I wonder if any faculty or fellow students provided statements back then or if there's any record of who he was supposed to meet. It might help paint a better picture of what was going on around the time he disappeared. Thoughts?

Has anyone else looked into the details about David Yeager's last known whereabouts? It seems like there might be some significance to why he was heading to Centenary College that day. I've been digging through some archives and found that the debate he was potentially attending was a pretty big event at the time, attracting students from several nearby schools. Could there have been something about this event that made him a target, or is it possible that someone he knew, or met there, was involved in his disappearance? It's odd that there's such a mystery surrounding his planned trip to the college, especially when he was known to be quite meticulous with his schedule. Maybe someone else has info on whether any other students or attendees noticed anything strange that day? Let's see if any new eyes on this part of the case can uncover something overlooked.
