Hey everyone, I’ve been combing through some older cases and came across Steven Lewis Ericson’s disappearance from Grass Valley back in ‘72. One thing that caught my attention was how little info there is about the area on the day he vanished. Is there anyone here who's familiar with what Grass Valley was like in the early 70s? Any local events or changes happening around that time? Sometimes, small details about the community or local happenings can spark new ideas or jog someone’s memory. Would love to hear from anyone who has insights or thoughts about that era. Let's keep the discussion going and see if we can piece together more about what might've happened to Steven.

Hey everyone, I've been following Steven Lewis Ericson's case, and there's something that really sticks out to me. I've read that there's been little to no media coverage on his disappearance over the years, which might explain why not many people are familiar with his story. Has anyone else noticed how cases from that era often lacked the immediate media attention we see today? It's sad because media exposure can be crucial in keeping a missing person's case alive in the public's mind. Given the lack of updates, I'm wondering if the case files might still have some unexamined details that could benefit from a fresh set of eyes. Does anybody know if there's been any recent push to have retired or cold case detectives review older cases like Steven's? It would be great to raise more awareness for his case and hopefully get some new leads. Hope to hear your thoughts on this!
