I can't stop thinking about the role social media might have played in Koby’s tragic situation. You know how platforms can sometimes create a false sense of belonging or pressure, especially for young people like Koby. In my opinion, it’s possible Koby got lured into this dangerous group because of what he saw or experienced online. I really wish there were more resources or preventative measures to help teenagers navigate these virtual communities safely. My heart goes out to Koby’s family and friends—they must be going through an unimaginable time. If only there were more awareness about how these platforms can sometimes lead to real-world dangers, maybe this tragedy could have been prevented. Stay safe, everyone, and watch out for each other.
