Koby James Coats, a 17-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on October 3, 2020. Koby, remembered for his big heart and love for his family, was found dead behind a home in the Hyde Park area of Jacksonville. The circumstances surrounding his death were particularly harrowing, as it was revealed that Koby was killed during a gang initiation.
