I was reading about Chad's case and wanted to mention something that really stuck with me. It’s been almost three years, and it’s just so hard to believe that answers are still out of reach. I think about how Chad was just starting to carve out his path in life, with his studies and passion for music. It's just devastating to think about all the moments that were taken from him, from his family celebrating him graduating to watching his favorite Florida Gators games together.
I keep hoping that someone, anyone, will come forward with information to help solve this case. It’s maddening to think that someone knows something but hasn't yet found the courage to speak up. How can we keep the pressure on and spread more awareness about Chad's story? His family deserves peace, and the community needs some resolution. Hoping to see justice served soon.
Hey everyone,
This case has been weighing heavily on my mind lately. I've been thinking about Chad's love for fishing and how he seemed to be living such a positive life. It just haunts me to think about how someone could go from enjoying life's simple joys, like casting a line by the water, to being caught in such a horrific incident. It's awful that places we think of as safe can quickly turn into scenes of violence.
It makes me wonder if there's more we, as a community, can do to honor Chad's memory by fighting against the senseless gun violence in our area. Have there been any local efforts or initiatives that have started in his memory? I'd love to get involved or even start something if nothing like that exists yet. Let's come together to remember Chad not just for his tragic end but for the vibrant life he lived—and to ensure fewer families have to endure such loss in the future.
Sending strength and love to Chad's family and friends during these impossible times.
