I was reading through some old articles about missing persons, and the case of Pauline Anne Szwedo caught my attention. One thing that's always intrigued me is the location where her car was found. The Eads Bridge is such a significant landmark—it's a busy area and not the kind of place you'd think a car would be simply abandoned without anyone noticing something. It makes you wonder, did someone else drive her car there, or was it some kind of message or staging? The bridge spans two states; could that have made a difference in the investigation back in 1975 in terms of jurisdiction and coordination between Illinois and Missouri? Such a distinctive spot for the car to turn up and yet no solid leads. Would love to hear theories about this aspect of the case.

Does anyone else find it odd that Pauline Szwedo's car was left on the Eads Bridge? It seems almost symbolic or intentional for someone to leave a vehicle in such a public place, especially on a bridge that connects two states. Could it suggest someone wanted to make it look like she went into the river? I’ve read discussions on the geographical significance of where people go missing, and it’s possible that the bridge might hold some clue we haven't considered yet. The fact that this area sees a lot of traffic makes you wonder if there are any witnesses who might not even realize they have a key piece of information. What do you guys think? Do you believe the car placement was strategic or just coincidental?

Hey all, I’ve been digging through some old cases and came across the disappearance of Pauline Anne Szwedo from East St. Louis in 1975. Something that intrigues me is the location where her car was found — Eads Bridge. It seems like such a high-traffic area connecting Illinois and Missouri. I wonder if anyone has ever looked into whether there could have been witnesses who might've seen something unusual that day? With so many people commuting over that bridge daily, surely someone could have spotted something. It’s just puzzling how a busy location like that didn’t yield any clues. Anyone else have thoughts on why there's been so little information coming from that aspect of the case?
