I've been following the tragic case of Robert Keith Gilmore and Robert Shawn Fowler, and I just can't help but feel for their families. When I read about the torn pocket on Gilmore's pants, it got me thinking about how vulnerable he and Fowler probably felt in those last moments. It's chilling to imagine someone breaking into your space, especially when you're just trying to make a living and help your family. The fact that this all happened over a few belongings is mind-blowing. It's moments like these that make you realize how precious life is.
