I was reading about Alaysia Hart's case, and I can't stop thinking about how overlooked the impact on families often is in these situations. It's devastating to see Alaysia's grandmother, Zoraida Rosado, sharing her pain and frustration due to the lack of clear communication and updates from the authorities. It must be unbearably difficult to not only lose a loved one in such a violent way but to also feel left in the dark during the investigation process. Even though the case was classified as "exceptionally cleared" with the death of the suspect, it doesn't seem like real justice or closure for the family. My heart goes out to them, especially knowing they continue to live with this loss every day. Has anyone else looked into how these cases are handled post-investigation? It seems like there should be more support for families left in this kind of limbo.
