Did anyone else attend the vigil held for Max? I was there, and it was such a moving experience seeing so many people come together to remember him. It was evident how much Max meant to his community. There were friends and family who shared touching stories showing how much love and respect they had for him. It’s profoundly sad to think that his life was cut short due to the senseless violence that seems to plague our city continuously. I hope that the support demonstrated that night brings some comfort to his loved ones. And I can't help but wonder if such public gatherings can encourage witnesses to come forward, so those responsible might finally be held accountable. If anyone has updates or ways to continue supporting Max's family, please share.

I wanted to share some thoughts on Delvin Asa Foster's case, as I’ve been following it since it happened. It’s just incredibly sad to see yet another family torn apart by violence. What caught my attention was how community support seemed like both a source of strength and a challenge.
From what I gathered, Max was well-loved by those who knew him, and the community had a lot of respect for him. It's clear he meant a lot to many people, which makes the lack of immediate justice even harder to swallow. But here's the thing: it also seems like the fear of retaliation or distrust in the system might keep people from coming forward with what they know.
The police can only do so much when people are too scared to speak up. It’s understandable, but it’s also frustrating. I wish there was a way to break that barrier, so folks would feel safer sharing information that could really help cases like Max’s. Every little bit counts in trying to bring some peace to his loved ones.
Has anyone heard about any community efforts or initiatives to support witness protection? It feels like this is such a crucial aspect that could help not just this case but others too. If we could shed some light on that, maybe it could lead to some progress. My heart goes out to Max's family and friends—hoping they find the closure they desperately need.
