It's so gut-wrenching to think about Marky's kids growing up without their dad. I can't even imagine how his family is coping with this, especially with his daughter and another little one on the way. ? A part of me can't shake the idea that this could have all been avoided if Arroyo was still behind bars. It really gets you thinking about how the justice system needs to prevent people with violent pasts from being able to do more harm. I hope there's a strong focus on this issue as the case moves forward. Families shouldn't have to pay this kind of price. Sending all my thoughts to the Arbelo family and the Crescent City community—I know everyone is pulling together and supporting each other through this incredibly difficult time.
