Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the kind of person Freddie Jackson was and how much he meant to his community. From what I've read, it's clear he was more than just a neighbor, he was truly a friend to so many. It breaks my heart every time I hear stories about how he would always greet people with a smile at local events and was just the life of the neighborhood. It’s deeply troubling to see yet another case of gun violence in Jacksonville. We can't ignore the urgent need for better safety measures in our communities. People like Freddie should be going about their daily lives without fear of these kinds of tragedies. While the legal proceedings against Keith Cooper continue, my thoughts are with Freddie’s family and friends. I hope they find some comfort knowing that so many are standing alongside them, both in grief and in calling for justice.
