I’ve been following the case of Justin Atkinson and the others who lost their lives that day, and I can’t stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for those two young girls who were caught up in the middle of it all. They’re so young and to go through such a traumatic ordeal is unimaginable. I hope they’re getting the support they need to heal after witnessing something so horrific. It’s hard not to think about how this kind of violence impacts kids—I just wish there was more we could do to protect them from ever experiencing something like this. How does a community begin to process and recover from an event like this? My thoughts go out to everyone involved, especially those kids who have to carry this with them.

I've been following the tragic case of Justin Atkinson, his son Calvin, and Anthony Mull, and it's just so difficult to comprehend how something like this could happen. I wanted to discuss the bravery of the two teenage girls who were present during this horrifying event. Despite being under such immense pressure and fear, they managed to stay composed enough to survive a situation that we can only imagine was beyond terrifying. It's haunting to think about what they witnessed and how they're coping now. It's crucial that they receive all the support they need to begin healing from this traumatic experience. I'm glad to read that the Osceola County Sheriff's Office and the community are rallying around the families, but these young girls will likely need long-term support to overcome the trauma they've experienced. Has there been any update on how they're doing or any initiatives in the community to provide them with the necessary counseling and support? Sending thoughts to all the families involved; none of them deserved this.
