Derrick Dixon, a 24-year-old man, was tragically killed on May 15, 2009, in Charlotte, North Carolina. On that day, Dixon was found shot outside his residence. Authorities responded quickly to the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries. Despite efforts by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, the case remains unsolved and is currently classified as a cold case.
