Did anyone know if the weather conditions were particularly challenging the day the flight went missing? I know the Cessna 180 has a fairly good reputation for handling diverse weather patterns, but the Alaskan wilderness can be unpredictable. The route from Anchorage to Grayling is quite notorious for sudden weather shifts, especially around Rainy Pass. Just curious if there were any reports of unexpected weather on that day or if anyone has experience flying around that area who can shed some light on typical conditions. Also, does anyone know if there were other flights on that day that might have faced difficulty? Every bit of info might help connect some dots. Just hoping for any piece of news that might bring peace to the families involved.
Has anyone heard anything about the overdue flight from Anchorage to Grayling? I'm especially curious about the conditions over Rainy Pass on the day the plane went missing. I've read that weather can get pretty tricky in that area. Were there any reports of bad weather or unusual conditions at the time? It seems so dangerous to be flying a Cessna 180 in those circumstances, especially considering it's a small aircraft. Thoughts on what might have happened out there, given that information is still limited? Also, if anyone knows about the routes typically taken in these flights, I'd be grateful for some insight. Hoping for the best for Kenneth, Robert, Larry, and William.
