It's been a really tough time for everyone who knew Okeeno, especially his family. I keep thinking about how his mother, Trina, must have felt getting that call. I can’t even imagine what went through her mind during those terrifying moments before she learned the devastating truth. The fact that the community is rallying together for justice is somewhat comforting, but nothing will ever fill the void left by Okeeno. It’s so important for us to support each other and keep raising awareness in situations like this. If anyone has any helpful information, please reach out to the authorities. Okeeno deserves justice, and his family deserves closure.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Okeeno George, and something that really stands out to me is the lack of security measures in place at the areas where these kinds of altercations are taking place. It’s devastating to see a community struggling with such a profound loss, and yet I wonder if more could be done to prevent these random acts of violence. Why aren't there more street cameras or better lighting in places where young people gather? It's a gut-wrenching thought to imagine the fear and chaos that night. My heart truly goes out to Okeeno's family and friends. They deserve to see justice for him, but also peace of mind that it won’t happen to another child in their community. Thoughts?
I've been thinking a lot about the effect this tragic event has had on Okeeno's family, especially his younger brother. I can't imagine having to call your mom with news like that after hearing those shots. It must be incredibly traumatic for him—and the rest of the family—to not only lose a brother, but to have to deal with the uncertainty of the police investigation. It's hard not knowing who did this or why. It's important that we keep sharing any information or thoughts we might have to help investigators. Hopefully, we can bring some peace and closure to Okeeno’s family.
