I came across this case and just can't stop thinking about Jamal's mother, Renee Holmes. It must be unimaginably difficult to lose a child in such a senseless act of violence. The community's support for her and Jamal's family seems strong, but I can't help but wish there was more we could do to ease their pain. It's incredibly frustrating to hear that no arrests have been made yet, even with "promising" leads. I really hope anyone with information steps forward soon. It’s hard to grasp how his dreams of pursuing music and his vibrant personality were taken away so suddenly. The candlelight vigil was a beautiful tribute, emphasizing the impact he had on those around him. Have any of you in the area noticed any increased police presence or community initiatives since the incident? It would be good to hear more about how the locals are coming together to address the broader issue of gun violence, not just in memory of Jamal but for the safety of everyone in Riviera Beach.
