Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Danny Colon and the impact his loss has had on his family, particularly his daughters. I cannot imagine the pain Isabella and Destiny are going through right now. Growing up without a father figure, especially someone as loving and dedicated as Danny was, must be incredibly challenging. I keep wondering what kind of emotional and financial support they might need now and in the future.
It’s heartwarming to see the community coming together to support them, but I hope there are sustainable ways we can continue to help. Maybe there are local organizations or community funds that could provide ongoing support or scholarships for Danny’s grandchildren? They’ve been through so much, and I hope they find some comfort in knowing they’re not alone. If anyone has ideas on how we can contribute or any updates on assistance for his family, please share. Let’s keep Danny’s memory alive by looking out for those he loved the most. <3
I've been following the Fort Lauderdale bus shooting case closely, and I can't stop thinking about the courage it must have taken for the bus driver to steer the vehicle to safety amidst all that chaos. It's incredible to think how quick thinking and bravery can make such a huge difference in moments of terror. My heart goes out to the victim's families, especially Danny Colon’s daughters who lost their father far too soon. It's truly devastating to imagine their pain, and I hope that they find some comfort and strength in the support being shown by the community. With everything going on, let's also remember to recognize those unseen heroes who acted with bravery that day.
Has anyone else been thinking about the courage of the bus driver during that horrible day when Danny Colon and Gregory Campbell Jr. were killed? I can't imagine the chaos going on in that bus when the shots were fired, yet the driver managed to safely steer the bus to the police station. It's scary to think about how much worse things could have been if the driver hadn't kept their cool. My heart goes out to the families, especially Danny Colon's daughters and grandchildren. It's such a senseless tragedy, but the driver’s quick thinking potentially saved many more lives. I hope they’re getting the support they need too.
