Hey everyone, just stumbled across Charles David Hope's case from 1982 and found something intriguing about the circumstances just before he disappeared. Did you all know he resigned from his position as chairman of the Hernando Port Authority two months before vanishing? I wonder if there's any significance to that timing. Was there any kind of pressure or unresolved issues related to his resignation? Given his role, it seems plausible that his departure could have left some sour feelings, or maybe he knew something he wasn’t supposed to. Just thinking out loud here, but maybe digging into the reasons behind his stepping down could shed light on possible angles we haven't considered. What do you folks think? Is it just a coincidence, or worth looking into more?
