I still can't wrap my head around how entire families can be torn apart by such awful acts. Erica was just starting her life, working hard, and caring for her kids. To know that her murder was planned by members of her own extended family is beyond disturbing. I can't help but feel tremendous sympathy for her children. It's horrifying to think about how this must affect them. Losing their mother in such a brutal way and having their father involved must be incredibly confusing and painful for them. And then there's the whole twist with Antonio Cuellar Enriquez. Fatima and Daniel trying to use him as a scapegoat just shows how deep the deceit ran. For Antonio’s life to end that way too—it’s as if they had no regard for anyone's life. I really hope justice prevails for both Erica and Antonio. The community seems to be standing strong in supporting Erica's family, and I hope it brings them some comfort during this nightmare.
