Has anyone else looked into the local activity around Lawton, Oklahoma, during the summer of 1983? I came across an old newspaper article that mentioned a string of petty crimes in the area just before Lisa Farmer vanished. Mostly break-ins and small thefts, but it makes me wonder if there was an unknown person lurking around at the time who could have been involved in something bigger. The fact that her house didn't show forced entry makes it all the more puzzling. Could someone have been watching her and seized the opportunity when he knew her husband wasn't around? Maybe there's more to these local incidents that haven't been considered in relation to Lisa’s case. Thoughts?

I’ve been following Lisa Farmer’s case since I stumbled upon it in a forum discussion last week. What really grabs my attention is the missing floral-print nightgown. I can’t help but wonder why it was the only thing unaccounted for. It's almost like she was taken by surprise while getting ready for bed. Given that there were no signs of forced entry, it seems unlikely she left on her own, especially with her baby being alone and all her belongings left behind. Could someone have been watching her and knew exactly when to strike? Also, was there ever any update on the potential connection with Kenneth Wagstaff? His involvement in a murder so close in time and vicinity is too coincidental to ignore. Does anyone know if there were follow-ups on neighbors or other people who might’ve been in the area regularly? Maybe someone noticed something unusual in the days leading up to that night?
