Does anyone else feel a deep sense of frustration reading about this? It’s just so devastating to think about how this situation escalated from a feud to such a tragic end. Jorge Nunez Medina and his family should never have been put through this nightmare. Thinking about the ongoing monitoring by the Miami-Dade Police makes me question if something more could have been done to prevent this. It’s troubling that officers noticed the same car circling the house but weren't able to intervene before it was too late. I know hindsight is 20/20, but it feels like there were so many warning signs that went unheeded. My heart goes out to Jorge's loved ones. I hope they find some form of justice and peace amidst this tragedy. Gun violence continues to rob communities of peace, and it's unbearable to think that two lives were lost over a feud. What can we do to prevent this from happening in other neighborhoods?
