Has anyone else been following the Michael Silka case? I've been doing a bit of research on it and came across something that caught my attention. Roger's body has never been found, and some suggest it might be in the Tanana River. I was wondering if there have been any recent efforts or plans to search that area more thoroughly with advanced technology or search teams? I know it’s been decades, but with everything advancements in tech, it feels like there might be renewed hope in locating him and the other missing persons. Anyone have thoughts or updates on this?
Has anyone else been curious about the potential connection between Roger and the other missing individuals in this case? I came across some discussions suggesting that all these disappearances might be linked. What really puzzles me is how they might have ended up at Tanana River together—or if they even did. Are there any theories about whether they knew each other or if it's just a chilling coincidence? It's unsettling how many questions remain unanswered. I'd love to hear others' thoughts or if anyone has stumbled upon more information.
Has anyone here ever looked into the disappearance of Roger in the context of the weather and river conditions around Tanana River during the time he went missing? Based on some old reports I stumbled across, the water levels and flow rates around mile 4.7 Chena Pump Road can be pretty unpredictable. Just thinking that if his body was indeed placed in the river, those rates could make recovery incredibly difficult. Maybe local weather records from that time could shed some light on search challenges? Also, do we know if there were any large-scale search efforts involving divers or sonar around that area? If anyone's got more info or thoughts, I'd be curious to hear them!
