Has anyone else looked into the possibility that the current was really strong during the time Joyce and the others went missing? I've read that the Tanana River can be pretty treacherous, especially in the spring. If that's when it happened, maybe the bodies were carried way downstream, which could explain why no one's found them. I know it's been years, but does anyone think a fresh search of the river or areas further down might turn up something, given how things can shift with the river currents over time? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I recently came across the case of Michael Silka and found the whole situation surrounding the missing individuals deeply unsettling. Specifically, I'm puzzled about the potential involvement of the Tanana River in Manley Hot Springs as a disposal site. Does anyone have insights into the search efforts conducted there? Given that Joyce and the others haven't been found, I'm curious if the search teams faced any unique challenges in that area. The river currents might have been strong or perhaps there were other geographical elements that complicated things. It's haunting to think about what might have happened and how nature might have hidden these unfortunate souls. Any info or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
