Does anyone else think about the kind of person D'Shawn was and what he meant to his community? I didn’t know him personally, but from what I've read, he was only 21 and already doing so much with his life. As a cosmetologist, he touched so many lives through his work, making people feel beautiful and confident. It's devastating that such a talented and positive individual was taken from us so senselessly. It's always upsetting when someone with so much potential and future ahead of them is lost to such violence. I truly feel for his family and friends who are dealing with this tremendous loss. It’s a stark reminder of how short life can be and how important it is to cherish our loved ones every single day. If anyone around here knew him or went to his salon, please share your memories. It’s nice to keep his memory alive by talking about the good times and the impact he made. Stay safe, everyone.
