It's still so hard to process the loss of Corey Terrell Grimmage. I can't stop thinking about how his family and friends must be feeling right now. With the trial date still not set, I imagine the waiting is unbearable for them. Every time there's new evidence or some update, it must bring up so much pain. I was reading about Hall's arrest and how the phone conversations between him and Corey hint at the dark world of narcotics that seems to be entangled in this—incredibly tragic that it came to this. I still can't wrap my head around why someone would resort to such violence. The evidence seems pretty strong against Hall, with the fingerprints and gun match, but I hope the investigation is thorough, leaving no room for doubt. Justice for Corey means everything right now, not only to bring some level of closure to those who knew him but also to bring some peace to the community. Anyone else feel like this case serves as another reminder of how important it is to support our communities and prevent this level of violence before it starts? Thinking of Corey’s loved ones as they go through this incredibly tough time.
