Does anyone else find it odd that Jeff left his uncashed paycheck behind? I mean, he was planning to buy a used car, so you'd think he would need that money, right? It makes me wonder if he really intended on returning soon or if maybe something unexpected happened that made him leave in a hurry. Also, with the whole lawsuit settlement angle, it's hard not to think about whether he felt pressured or threatened at the time. Still, leaving a paycheck behind is such a peculiar detail. Anyone have thoughts on what this could mean in the larger context of his disappearance?
