Hey everyone,
I've been diving into the tragic story of William Emery Kamp and the other victims of Juan Vallejo Corona, and something that really struck me was how the community must have felt during the days the bodies were being discovered. Can you imagine the atmosphere in Yuba City and Sutter County during that period?
The fear and confusion must have been palpable, especially since this all started to unravel so abruptly. Just the sheer horror of realizing that a killer had been living among them, targeting some of the most vulnerable people. It must have been so unnerving for everyone who lived through it.
My heart goes out to the families and friends of the victims, including Kamp's, who had to wait as each new discovery unfolded, never knowing who would be found next. I wonder how the local community came together in response to such a terrible event. Has anyone done any research or read firsthand accounts about how the townsfolk supported each other during this time?
Hope to hear your thoughts.
