Has anyone else thought about how the jewelry section at the Payless Drug Store might have played into the motive for the robbery that ended so tragically for Michael, Tracy, and Billy? I know a lot of people have focused on the cash register money, but what if there was something specific in the store that was a target? I've read that other similar stores were targeted around that time for high-value items like electronics or specific pharmaceuticals, which makes me wonder if the perpetrators knew exactly what they were looking for. It just breaks my heart thinking about what those three had to go through. To the families, I can't even imagine the pain of not having answers for so long. The community has not forgotten, and I truly hope with new info coming to light, we are one step closer to bringing those responsible to justice. Keep strong. We're all hoping for a breakthrough.

Hi everyone, I've been following the Payless Drug Store case in San Mateo for a while, and there's one detail I've always found puzzling: the security measures of the store at the time of the murders. Given that the crime happened in 1979, I'm curious about the security systems that were in place back then. Did the store have any surveillance cameras or security protocols that might have captured something useful? It's just so frustrating to think that if there had been more advanced technology, perhaps the perpetrators could have been caught sooner. My heart goes out to Michael Olson and the other victims, as well as their families, who have had to endure all these years without closure. If anyone has more information about the store's security or remembers something that could help further the case, please share. Every little bit could potentially make a difference. Stay hopeful, everyone.
