I’ve been thinking a lot about the sketchy details around that lawyer who supposedly tracked Tammy down and handed her back to those terrifying clients. Imagining the last few weeks of her life terrifies me—she was just a teenager caught up in something so sinister. It really makes me wonder about the ethical implications of that lawyer's actions, especially if they were knowingly putting someone in harm’s way. It also bothers me that there seems to be little to no consequences for the lawyer involved. How could anyone live with themselves after something like this unfolds? It’s chilling to think about the trust we often place in legal professionals, and yet someone close to the case was complicit in this way... This must be so horrific for Tammy's family to even think about, let alone accept. These kinds of actions should never go unchecked. Anyone else have thoughts on how cases like this get so tangled and what could be done better?
