Was anyone else struck by the detail about Eddie's gunshot residue? I know things were handled differently in the '80s, but it's baffling to me that he wasn't charged back then, especially with something as compelling as GSR on his hands. But I guess it highlights the complexities investigators must have faced with the context of the Peoples Temple looming large over everything. It's just so incredibly sad that justice seems so elusive in this case. My heart goes out to any family and friends who are still searching for answers. I wonder if any fresh evidence might ever surface or if this haunting mystery will remain forever unresolved.
