Hi everyone, I've been digging a bit deeper into the aftermath of Deputy Leonardson's tragic death and came across something that I think is worth discussing. It seems that this heartbreaking incident prompted a lot of changes within the department regarding communication protocols. From what I've gathered, there was a push to reinforce how officers identify themselves, especially when they're off duty. It makes sense given the horrible circumstances of Leonardson's death. I can't help but feel for Leonardson's colleagues who had to push for these changes while grieving the loss of their friend. Implementing new policies must have been a heavy burden on them, emotionally and professionally. It just goes to show how one tragic incident can lead to significant shifts in how law enforcement operates. I hope these measures have helped in preventing similar tragedies. Sending love to Leonardson's family and everyone still affected by his untimely passing.
