I've been looking into the Beardslee case from 1981, and something that stands out is the role Ricki Soria played. It's troubling to think about her involvement, especially since Beardslee seemed to believe he was helping her break free from addiction. From what I understand, she was the one who made the call to Patty and Stacy, luring them into the ambush. It's saddening how someone who might have once wanted to get clean could end up being complicit in such brutal acts. It makes me wonder about the pressure she might have been under from Beardslee and Rutherford. Families on all sides must have gone through immense pain, and the loss of Patty and Stacy in such a violent manner is unimaginable. It's a tragic reminder of how addiction can entangle people in scenarios they might never have envisioned themselves being part of. I hope wherever Ricki is now, she's found some measure of peace and has recognized the weight of her actions.
